- Air Traffic Control School, Kessler AFB, MS, graduating fall 1962.
- Okinawa, Air Traffic Control Officer, Kadena AB until mid-1965.
- England AFB, LA, Flight Facilities Officer.
- 1967. Vietnam, 360th Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron. Flew the EC-47. Received the Distinguished Flying Cross for the 160 highly classified recon missions I flew.
- Westover AFB, MA. Flew T-29 Convair. Commander 1917th Communications Squadron.
- 1969. Pentagon. Air Traffic Control staff officer
- 1972. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) headquarters, Air Traffic Control Specialist.
- 1977. Air Force Liaison Officer to Civil AirPatrol, National Capitol Wing, Bolling AFB, DC.
- Reired as a LtCol 1982.

One aspect of my Air Force career was that I was fortunate enough to fly my entire career in many different varieties of aircraft.
