Ryan T. Overfield was born on May 10, 1977 to Thomas and Linda Overfield of Dayton, Ohio. He married Jama M. Lawyer on May 14, 2005, and together they were blessed with two beautiful girls-Kaylee and Julianne. Ryan was a beloved father, husband, uncle, son, and brother before he passed away on October 10, 2010 at the age of 33.

During his youth, Ryan attended the "U.S. Space Camp," and his love for NASA and all things “Space” continued throughout his entire life. He knew more answers to a Jeopardy show than "Rain Man," and had a strong desire to learn everything he could about the marvelous design and artistry of our heavens above. Most importantly, he was a devoted Christian man, and shared his love for Christ with his loving family and friends. Thank you, Ryan, for showing us how to walk with Jesus in our daily lives.
