Samuel Dagen has had an avid interest in both aviation and space exploration his entire adult life. Activities have included working towards a private pilot’s license and working as an aircraft mechanic. He also enjoys air shows and reading about flying and aircraft.
As an enthusiast, Samuel has followed the space program from its inception. He and his wife, Nancy, have visited the Kennedy Space Center several times and he follows most missions as they are in progress. He even volunteered to be a civilian space traveler.
Samuel has shared his passion for aviation and space with his two daughters and five grandchildren throughout the years.
