Scott Baldwin has been a life-long supporter of business aviation. A pilot himself, he first soloed in 1945 at the age of 16. In his business travels Mr. Baldwin, the founder of this firm, acquired his first airplane, a Cessna 182 Skylane, which he flew himself, graduating to larger single engine airplanes. Beginning in 1968 the firm recognized the need for a larger professionally flown aircraft, beginning with a Piper Cheyenne II then operating several other turbo-prop and jet aircraft to its current two-jet operation of a Citation Excel and Bravo, with four pilots on staff flying approximately a thousand hours a year total. The flight department is operating in the United States, Caribbean and Europe.

Mr. Baldwin's philosophy has been that through the use of business aircraft he can streamline his law firm by increasing employee productivity, minimizing travel delays and insuring a quality home life for his employees. Operating out of a small town with no airline service but a well maintained county airport, it is not a question of could his company afford an airplane but a question of could his company afford not to have an airplane.
