Honored by:
Mr. Paul Mance
As a young man Howard Mance volunteered for the U. S. Army Air Corps. He earned many hours in 70 missions in the B-26 in the European Theatre. After his return to the U.S., he bought and flew a Piper Cub. His example inspired a love of flight in his children. One son went on to become a hang gliding pilot and instructor. Howards love of planes and flight has always stayed with him.
