    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Roger A. Lewis

Sevryn was a strong advocate of aviation until his untimely death in 1960. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a chief mechanic. He worked on B-29s while on Saipan. Following the war, he worked for various air freight companies including Embry Riddle out of Miami, FL. He earned his Flight Instructor license and started the Flying Club of Embry Riddle. He was an early member of the EAA and designed a unique triplane with a 20 foot wingspan and folding wings. Unfortunately he died before he could finish it. The unfinished plane was displayed for several years by the EAA for its workmanship.
