    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Harris U. Davis

My brother, Sgt. Sidney, left an area where there was no fighting in Accra, Gold Coast, Africa to enlist in the Army Air Corps.

He was training to become a tail gunner of a B-24 Liberator bomber when he was killed in an airplane crash.

This took place in February of 1945 while he and his crewmates were on their last training flight before being sent to the Pacific Area of the war.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
