My son, Simon L. Galey is just 7 years old.

We have been to Hazy numerous times and each visit is like the very first. He can hardly contain himself during the arduous hour long ride from the suburbs of Baltimore.

Without exception, the very first thing he does after getting out of the car is look at the Wall of Honor and each time he has asked, "how do I get my name on here?"

He loves all things that fly, from Pterosaurs to the Space Shuttle, and loves to fly in anything from Helicopters to Jumbos! We now live in California near LAX and every time a plane takes off his eyes search the sky. His room is filled with flying machines of every description and he is constantly trying to figure out ways to convince his parents to let him add to his collection.

It is truly an amazing experience to watch him navigate the everyday newness of the world and this is just a small tribute to his passion for the art and science of flight. My best friend was the same way growing up and he has managed to make a career of it. My wish for Simon is that he never loses his passionate attitude for one of mankind's greatest achievements.
