    Entered USAF 4 Oct. 1966. Basic Training at Lackland AFB, TX. Attended Technical Training at Lowery AFB, CO as a Missile Electronics Technician from Nov 1960 to Aug. 1967. Assigned to the Air Force Weapons Laboratory (AFWL) as a research & development electronic technician in the Laser Research Division. Spent the next 24 years at AFWL. Major programs worked on: TR-1 Service Laser at Sandia Optical Range. Shot down radio controlled drone with gas dynamic laser. Airborne Laser Laboratory – shot down nine AIM-9 missiles with high energy gas dynamic laser. Site Manager/ supervisor for Chemical Laser program where he rece3ived national recognition for program. Laid ground work for the airborne laser using a chemical laser system.
