Honored by:
SSGT Arlan E. Mitchell, USAAF, Served in WWII as a P-51D Crew Chief.. He was with the 339th Fighter Group and was stationed at Fowlmere, England near Cambridge. The 339th participated in the D-Day Invasion. At the final tally, the 339th had 234 air-to-air kills and 424 Ground Kills. SSGT Mitchell was an exceptional Crew Chief who received many aircraft maintenance awards.
