    Born June 6, '25. During WWII Oct. '42 Jun '46 served in U.S. Marine Corps as Staff Sgt. Crew Chief and turret-gunner on FBJ (B-25) and TBF/M
    Avenger plus gunnery instructor and control tower operator.
    From 4-7-51 was F4U/FG Corsair mechanic in Marine Reserve Sqd. VMF-231 as Tech.Sgt.at Akron, OH N.A.S. and getting Private Pilots License.
    In '51 I worked for E.W.Bliss Co. in Canton OH as Inspection Supervisor over first U.S. produced British designed steam catapults and arresting engines, torpedo tubes and doors for subs plus naval aircraft 20MM cannons. I also supervised the gage lab and was a member of the Material Revue Board. I left Bliss in '63 to work 26 years with the U.S. Dept.of Defense as a Quality Assurance Contract Specialist. I've have flown in 8 classes of military planes and 6 civilian plus blimp, balloon, ultra light, and sailplane.
