Stephen Decker has been a long time aviation enthusiast. He has had a passion for aircraft and space travel his entire life. When he needed help to complete his education, I suggested we join the Air Force. What better way to serve your country and also be in close contact with aviation. He was in the military for 8 years, having to shorten his career and retire on a disability. During his enlistment, he completed his education with a B.S. degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Steve is an original subscriber to the Air & Space Smithsonian magazine. When talking aviation, he can go to any one publication (yes he has saved every issue since 1986), and he can find a specific article to confirm the conversation at hand. We spent time in England with the military and were able to frequent air shows and museums. Steve is a font of knowledge when describing the specifics of an aircraft. It is like having my very own personal tour guide.
