My uncle Warren was in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He was in the 850th Bomber Squadron, 801st Group. He was shot down over France and died Wednesday, July 5, 1944. He is buried at Epinal American Cemetery Epinal (Vosges), France Plat B, Row 19, Grave 68.
Awards: Air Medal and Purple Heart.
He was loved very much by his family and friends, and we are so very proud of his bravery at a time when his country needed him. May God be with him.
