    Floyd W. Montgomery was a tail gunner on a B-17 Flying Fortress. He served in the 385th Bomb Group 549th Bomb Squadron, 8th Air Force during WWII.
    On his 3rd mission, the B-17 was attacked by German fighters and was shot down. Floyd bailed out and was captured by the Germans. He spent the next two years in Stalag 17B. Floyd was released when the war in Europe ended. Floyd is now living near Pittsburgh, PA.
