First Radioman on PB4Y-1, Navy Liberator during WWII. Flew in Pacific, Tinnian, Pelilieu and Iwo Jima in VPB-116. Plane, called “Easy Maid” (Nose Art), credited with 5 Japanese ship sinkings. Nose Art currently on exhibit at American Aerospace Heritage Museum, Midland, Texas, along with pictures and memorabilia.
