I was flying school class 44-B, instructed BT-13 for six months, then flew the P-40, P-47, P-51, F-86, F84F, F-101 A&C and F-104.
After twenty years active duty, I retired as a regular USAF officer with the rank of Major. Went to school picked up a couple of degrees, taught school for sixteen years, skied with the Mount Baker Ski patrol, golfed, flew and helped raise five daughters currently (I’m 77). I fly gliders and towplanes. Soaring is fun; towing is a drag.
