Stanley M. Krohn of Dayton, OH, an industrialist and philanthropist, was a friend of Thomas Watson, "Boss" Kettering, Warren Harding, and the Wright brothers (who repaired his children's bicycles). Shortly after bringing the Wright Flyer back from Kitty Hawk, Orville agreed to take Stanley up for a spin but warned him, "Don't tell Wilbur." Was Stanley the first passenger in a flight?
