I can remember in third grade deciding I wanted to be a pilot. My dad owned the local FBO so I was around planes a lot. I soloed when I was 16 and got all the rest of the ratings at minimum age. I flight instructed at Leesburg, VA while attending college. After two years I was hired as a commuter airline and flew with them for 2 ½ years leaving as a Captain. I was hired by Allegheny Airlines at age 22 flying BAC 111s. I then flew as Captain in DC9s, 737s, and after 24 years now 757 and 767. Is been a great adventure.
