    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Steven G. Field

Steven Field loved aviation and was directly involved for 45 years. He earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 1961. Through the following years, Commercial, Instrument, Multi-engine, and Instructor certificates and ratings were earned. While teaching in public schools in Gunnison, Colorado for 20 years, he introduced aviation and aerospace to hundreds of students at all levels, many of whom became professional and military aviators. As a Certified Flight Instructor, he taught his students (16 year olds-adult) the joy, thrill, and wonder of flight. A strong proponent of simulation, for 15 years he taught in those devices at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, until retiring in 2005. Now he travels and visits as many air and space museums as possible. Several family members are strongly interested and/or involved in aviation.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
