    Honored by:

    Pilot training at Goodfellow AFB, TX in November, 1950. Completed training in F-51's at Craig AFB, AL, Dec. 1951. Gunnery training at Nellis AFB, NV in Feb. to Apr. 1952. Assigned to the 59th Squadron, 51st Wing in Korea (May, 52 - Feb., 55). Flew 100 missions in the F-86 E & F." Destroyed two (2) Mig 15s. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Metals. Assigned to Fighter Flight Test at Wright Air Development Center in Dec, 1953. Designed cockpit layouts and instrument presentations. Resigned from the regular Air Force in Aug., 1955 and joined the Virginia Air National Guard. Resigned from the Air Force in August, 1962 to return to civilian job as Director of Research at Reynolds Metals Company's Plastics operation in Grotoes, VA.
