Became an aviation cadet in 1960 then served five years in USAF. Joined Pan Am World Airways and flew the world for 25 years. Finished the airlines with nine more years at Delta Air Lines. Currently Chief Pilot with Star West Aviation. Fond memory of having Charles Lindburgh coming into the cockpit one night and discussing a three star fix I’d just plotted. A wonderful aviation career for someone who never intended to fly.
