Taylor Gardiner Knight, 14, is an 8th grader at Liberty Middle School, in Clifton, Virginia. On May 15, 2004, Taylor attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank that can be attained by Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America. Some of Taylor's other achievements include:
Southwestern Youth Association Award-Feb 03-"for outstanding achievement and contributions in sports, school, and the community.
Little Rocky Run Swim Team-Coach's Award -summer 2002 and 2003
Fairfax County Public Schools All District Band-2003 and 2004
National Junior Honor Society-2003-2004
On the honor roll all four quarters in 7th and 8th ("All A" Honor Roll 2nd and 3rd quarter of 8th grade)
Taylor has always been an enthusiast of the National Air and Space Museum and would consider it a great honor to have his name placed on the Museum's Wall of Honor.
