    Maj Gen George B. Harrison, (Ret.)

    William Ogburn Harrison served in the United States Air Force from 1960 until 1980. As an Air Refueling Systems Technician on the KC-97 and KC-135, he served in the United States, Formosa, Japan, Alaska and the United Kingdom. Following his retirement from the U. S. Air Force, he pursued a career in civil aviation until his death in 1996. He was an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization, a Commercial Pilot and a Certificated Flight Instructor in Single and Multi-engine Airplanes and was an Instrument Instructor.
