Ted Williams is an illustrator who has documented America's progress in military aviation from the early fragile biplanes to today's modern jets and has devoted much of his career chronicling this evolution. A noted aviation historian and skilled artist he is known for the accuracy and artistry of his renderings, garnering much praise from among aviation engineers, historians, and enthusiasts. He has published books on the history of the American fighter and the American bomber. He also provides illustrations for journals, book publishers, museums, aerospace companies and the military. Working from his studio overlooking Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, he continues to create a focused body of aviation fine art and illustration.
