Theodore W. "Pitchie" Trepanier (born 29 December 1930, died 19 April 2004) joined the Marine Corps at the age of 20. Less than a year later, at the age of 21, Pitchie became the youngest person to serve as a crew chief on DC-3s. Only a year later Pitchie taught others in Las Alamedas, California. Although Pitchie served in the Corps for just two years he continued to love and respect aviation, mechanics, and of course the Marine Corps.
