    Thomas F Thorn was born November 7 1947 in Somers Point, NJ to his parents Francis and June Thorn. Tommy was married to Annabell, and had three children, Melissa, Brenda, and Marji. He held a commercial pilots license. His flying included aerial advertising banner towing, aerial forest fire fighting and various other commercial flying endevers. He loved flying and was at his happiest when at the controls of an airplane. Tommy worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone for 19 years. At the time of his death he was working on his instrument rating. He was very active in his church and loved the Lord Jesus his Savior.Tommy was a veteran of the US Navy. Tragically Tommy lost his life in the crash of a Piper Navajo on February 19, 1988 while building flight time with Atlantic City Air Taxi. Tommy is sorely missed by his family and friends, but will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and positive outlook on life.
