Hired on 11-16-40 with Pennsylvania Central Airlines as a radio operator. Pennsylvania Central Airlines became PCA and Tom Hallam was promoted to Junior Dispatcher. PCA merged with Capital Airlines. Capital Airlines merged with United Airlines. Tom retired on 9-1-79 as Senior Dispatcher. Tom was a member in good standing of the Retired United Pilots Association, International Association of Machinists, and Aerospace Workers Association, and was a life member of Capital Airlines Association.
