Thomas W. Sima is a retired US Air Force fighter pilot. He flew the F-86 Sabre jet in the same squadron as my husband, Lt. Col. Gus Molderstad, during the Korean War. While flying an F-105 during the Vietnam War he was shot down and held as a prisoner of war until he was repatriated in February 1973.
