    Mr. Phillip J. Hengesbach

The U.S.S. Enterprise is a historical namesake that the people of America know. From the first Enterprise in 1775, to the prototype of the Space Shuttle. There has been a ship in the Navy with the name Enterprise throughout most of our history, from the Revolutionary War, to World War II, and beyond. Gene Roddenberry even chose the name Enterprise for a spaceship that will one day protect our heavens as all the modern day ships protect our sea. This is dedicated to all the men throughout history who have served on all ships with the name Enterprise.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
