Vaughn is a true patron of flight and the preservation of its history. Even as a young boy he was interested in aerospace. Always wondering how the birds and the planes he saw overhead managed to stay aloft. This sparked his interest and so he pursued a career in the aerospace industry by receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Vaughn has made many contributions to educate others about flight and its history. Vaughn also realizes the importance of sharing what we have learned thus far about flight with generations to come.
