    Born June 7, 1923 and Died July 3, 91. Son of Circle, MT homesteaders H.R. & Ida Reinemer. May 1942-October 1942 mechanic for Boeing Aerocraft in Seattle, WA. October 1942 to October 1945 in Army Air Force as a pilot in 97th Troop Carrier Squadron during WWII. Flew C-47s and Dakota transports at Normandy during D-Day, airborne invasion of Holland, glider supply at Bastogne. Received Air Medal with 4 oak Leaf Clusters, Distinguished Unit Citation and Eastern Theatre ribbon with seven Bronze Stars.
    Following study at Shrivenham University, England and Sorbonne, Paris, received a BA in Journalism at University of Montana. 1955-1978 served as executive secretary to Montana Senators James E. Murray and Lee Metcalf and as staff director of the Senate Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Reports, Accounting and Management. Co Authored book "Overcharge" with Metcalf in 1967. 1979 to 1988 editor and publisher of "Public Power" magazine.
