    Vinny served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and serviced L-5 observation planes while stationed in Europe. After the war he was employed as a mechanic with the Newark Air Service where he worked on every conceivable type of airplane used by the airlines and “non-scheds” of the time.
    In 1955 he began working with General Electric’s Air Transport Operation at White Plains Airport, New York. He served GE until his retirement in 1990. While at GE, Vinny worked on the Falcon 20; Gulfstream I, II, and IV; Challenger 601, and Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. Throughout his career he was known for his hard working ethic, integrity, and perfect safety record.
