Virginia G. Haines worked for 18 years (1972-1980) for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Aviation Facilities Division in Pomona, New Jersey. She was a secretary to Mr. Schilling, the Division Director in charge of the mechanics and staff who worked on the airplanes and helicopters. Virginia’s office was located on the top floor of a giant hanger overlooking the workers below. She was a very patriotic woman, proud of her work and how she contributed federal government
