    Graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology, BS in ME (Aero Option) class of ’43. Went into the Air Force. Spent 3 ½ years in the South Pacific in aircraft maintenance. Went to work at Wright Patterson AFB in Flight Test in November 1946. Was back on active duty for 21 months in the Korean War. After 13 years in flight Test, went into management of various programs including Dyna-Soar and the EF-111A. Retired from Federal Service in 1983.
