Enlisting in the Marines in 1938, CWO Huber was a pioneer in Marine aerial photography and flew reconnaissance missions and participated in air strikes on the enemy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He later performed the same services in the Korean War. After retirement from the Marines in 1970, Mr. Huber served as a flight instructor at El Toro MCAS in California, and flew his last lesson on his 80th birthday in 1998.
