    Warren Joslyn enlisted in the Naval Aviation Cadet program soon after graduation from high school. Graduated from Pensacola as an Ensign and was designated a Naval Aviator. Transferred to NAS Opa Locke, Fla. for transition into Grumman Torpedo bombers. Carrier Qualified at NAS Great Lakes and was assigned to Torpedo One, Air Group One at NAS Alameda, Calif. After an accident at NAS Fallon, Nev. and several months at the Naval Hospital Oak Knoll, Calif., he was transferred to Composite Squadron Eighty ( VC-80). Was assigned to inactive Naval Reserve at the end of the war.
    Enrolled at the University of Cincinnati and graduated in 1950 with the Degree of Aeronautical Engineer. Went to work for Boeing in Seattle and was assigned to the Stress Staff on the XB-S2. Calculated and documented the Wing Design Air Loads. Did Stress Analysis and checking of the B-S2 aeroelastic wing. Conducted a Flightload Survey on the XB-S2 and the 004 B-S2A to confirm the Air Loads.
    Worked on other projects for 31 years, including 'Minuteman', 'DYNA SOAR', PHM Hydrofoils, Advanced Composite Structures, including design and testing of the JVX all composite wing and design of the prototype of the F-22 Advanced fighter.
    Projects outside of Boeing included a Pressure Jet Helicopter rotor and control system. Structural Design of Deep Diving work submarines Pisces Too to 1000 meters, Pisces IV and V to 2000 meters and Taurus I diver lockout and rescue Sub to 1200 feet. Currently a Docent at the Museum of Flight Seattle.
