    Warren L. Green's forty-six year aviation career began as a corporate pilot after being discharged from the navy in World War II. He then spent four years flying commuters to Washington and New York. He worked for the FAA for twenty-seven years as an investigator and Accident Prevention Specialist in central Pennsylvania. He played a major role in the development of the FAA's Accident Prevention program. He was dedicated to his flying career, and received numerous awards for his efforts to promote safety in aviation. He was a certified ground and flight instructor logging more than 12,000 hours of flying time. He was a QB and a member of AOPA. He is the author of The Carriage Drivers, a historical novel about the early years of corporate aviation.
