    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Wayne, my youngest child, was born August 27, 1959. All his life he loved airplanes. He wanted to be an A&P mechanic. He graduated from Alabama Aviation Institute of Technology with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. While in Alabama, I allowed him to keep my 172 Cessna. He came away with all his flying licenses.
His first full time job was an A&P with Peoples Express Airline. He was able to fly co-pilot on one of their 727’s from Newark to Jacksonville. He then went to work for Northwest as A&P. His goal was to fly. First job was to fly cancelled checks. Second job was Frank Perdue’s personal pilot. Third job was captain on Beach jet flying George Bush, Phil Collins and others. He was killed in a Lear July 26, 1988.
