1stLt Elledge earned The Distinguished Flying Cross flying 269 combat missions in AC-47 (Spooky Gunship), from December 1968 to November 1969 in Vietnam. Was only Lt. to be upgraded to instructor pilot in Ac-47 in Vietnam. Served in USAF and CIA over 35 years in 25 countries in defense of freedom. Taught foreign officers from over 30 countries, skills in flying and intelligence.
