Flew 100 missions in F-86 with 4th FIW Kimpo Air Base, Korea from 4 May 1952 - 12 October 1952.
Damaged 1-MIG 15. Taught aerial gunnery and All WX Interception at Tyndall AFB, FL until 15 December 1954.
Flew with Indiana Air National Guard from January 1955 to October 1964.
Served in Berlin call up and other exercises in F-80, F-86 and F84F.
Served 18 months as Squadron Commander 113th FIS, Indiana Air National Guard.
Continued in active and inactive status while flying with American Airlines from May 1965 to January 1990.
Total military service -- 28 years. Airline service -- 25 years.
Retired as DC-10 Captain.
