A positive role model in 30 years (1944-1974) of dedicated service to the Air Force as spouse of career officer. Well known as BILLIE (or Miss BILLIE), she actively supported the mission of diverse organizations at many locations in the continental USA and overseas.

She demonstrated selfless willingness as advisor and counselor or mentor and friend to all-military and civilian American, allied, or foreign nationals.

Energetic participation in and competent leadership of varied activities, which included the Protestant Women of Chapel and Religious Education; Family Services and Red Cross; Boy and Girl Scouting; children/youth programs; officer wives activities; and base/community events.

Willetta is a dignified lady with a caring manner, who is respected for inspiration to others.
