    H. R. Pfizenmayer

William B. (Bill) Bullock has been closely associated with aviation for more than 70 years. From a tiny cow pasture airport near Lynchburg, Virginia where he first learned to fly in a Curtiss OX5 powered Eaglerock, his activities have spanned the industry. These included barnstorming, parachute jumping, wing walking, mechanic, salesman, 26 years with the old Glen L. Martin Company, photographer, and aviation writer and publisher. Never without a camera, he has a prize collection of aviation photographs.

He is an avid experimental and vintage aircraft devotee and has been involved in restorations of a Travelair 2000 biplane (OX5 powered), a BT-13 Valiant trainer, and numerous PT-17 Stearmans. He also built and flew an experimental biplane of his own design. He is a recognized authority on vintage aircraft and engines dating back to the Wright Brothers.

He lives in Phoenix, Arizona and continues his involvement with aircraft and aviation history.
