Entered aviation cadets, USAF F3b. 1950. Graduated Class 51-09 at Ellington AFB, Texas. Served two tours as a navigator instructor at Ellington AFB, 1951-1952 and 1956-1958. Overseas tours included two at Tachikawa AB, Japan, 1953-1956 and 1960-1964. Flew 48 missions in Korea 1952-1953 and was awarded the DFC for a mission on Dec. 25, 1952. Assigned to Phan Rang AB, Vietnam 1967-1968. The first half of my career pertained to flying assignments. The second half included slots such as Adjutant, Base Exchange Officer, Base Housing and Billeting Officer. Retired 1 Aug. 1969.
