Wall of Honor Level: Air and Space Friend
Honored by:
Mr. Ralph Evans
Born 1934 Mid1and, Michigan. Died.2002 in Santa Rosa, Cali-fornia. Bill maintained a lifelong interest in airplanes, flying, and the aviation industry.
At age 18 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy which trained him as an
Air Controller, and in G.C.A.
Discharged in 1957, he subsequent1y worked as an FAA Air Traffic Controller at Chicago, Detroit and Flint, Michigan.
Licensed as a private pilot in 1969 he logged many happy hours flying in the Mid-west area. What he learned about franchising from a frequent passenger/friend led to a successful career
in that field after he moved to California.
Without people like him, there would be, today, a very different aviation industry.
