    Published early aviation magazine "Aeronautical World" August 1902
    through September 1903. Wrote 1902 August article predicting aviation
    would become the preferred method of travel and intercontinental as well as
    transpolar flight would be normal. Developed a novel glider using turkey
    feathers and light weight wood structure. Models launched by rocket power
    flown into Lake Erie. Significant inventions resulted in patents world wide
    for telephone, telegraph, railway signals, electrical devices, carbon arc lamps.
