My father, Bill Lancaster, is a man who has fulfilled a destiny of great success that one could only imagine. His success includes a family of 9 children and several grandchildren, as well as many diverse businesses. One of his businesses is Spaceshots – he believes that people love to see where they live, work and play. He is a life-long subscriber to National Geographic Society Publications, Scientific American, and other interesting scientifically based technical publications, has a great personal interest in outer space, which includes our Solar System, satellites, and images of Earth taken from space. The National Geographic 1985 Atlas ‘SPACE PORTRAIT OF A CONTINENT” was the final key inspiration to start Spaceshots, Inc., he firmly believed there was a business opportunity that would be created by public interest. He feels that a company and/or a person is not just measured by how successful it is but by which road it has traveled to gain success – the school of hard knocks and great networking.
