Served in the Army Air Corp during World War II (5/4/42 - 8/29/43) as a pilot. Fighter pilot on P-38. Hired by Pennsylvania Central Airline, on 6/13/1945, PCA became Capital Airlines and then merged with United Airlines. Retired from United 10/75.
