In 2015, the Cotterill family emigrated from Australia to the USA, settling in Reston, Virginia. One of their first forays outside of their new community was to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly. From the moment he walked in through the doors and saw the Blackbird, William (aged 2) was hooked. In the 2 years since, we've made countless trips to the Air & Space Museum, with a now 3.5 year old William taking his Australian cousins on a tour of the Center during a recent visit in Jan 2017. William's younger brother, the American-born Jack (June 2016), may not be able to speak yet, but his penchant for all things aviation is clear, with repeated attempts to steal his brother's rockets, planes, etc. during afternoon playtime :)

As proud parents to these two wonderful boys, we look forward to encouraging their love of aviation over the coming years. We love you boys! Mum & Dad (aka Tom & Louise)
