Served as ball turret gunner on Avengers, flying off the carrier USS Rudyerd Bay during the battle of Okinawa during WWII. Also served as air crew during the Korean War and the Cold War. Enlisted in the Navy in 1943 at age 16. Retired from the Air Force 1968l he served his country with pride.
