William Palmer Van Order was born October 20, 1924, and died February 8, 1998.
He was a WW II veteran, serving with the U. S. Army in Europe. Married Barbara Wrenn, November 8, 1946. Had a daughter, Lisa Gale Van order, born March 19, 1952 and a son, William Palmer Van Order III, born March 14, 1954. He travelled the world working for National Supply Co., in the oil business, and lived 17 years overseas. He was a pilot in small planes and dearly loved flying and anything to do with air and space. He had hopes the his two grandsons, Mark and Michael Johnson would share his interest in flying and sailing.
